Lauren Farmer
Nursery Manager
Lauren has been part of our Nursery for over 15 years. Lauren is our dedicated Nursery Manager and Designated Safeguarding Lead. Lauren is an experiences Childcare Professional with level 2, 3, 4 and 5 in Childcare as well as Level 3 in management and level 5 diploma in leadership for health and social care and children and young people services. Lauren has also completed safer recruitment training and completes regular Safeguarding, Prevent Duty, food hygiene and first aid training. Lauren is very present within the nursery and provide support to all our children and families. She loves seeing the children thrive, enjoying learning through play each day and seeing each child build positive relationships.
Kim Stannard
Nursery Deputy Manager and Safeguarding
Kim has been part of our nrusery for 15 years. Kim is our Deputy manager and Designated safeguarding lead. Kim is an experienced childcare professional with level 2 and 3 in childcare, as well as Senco training and Level 3 in management. Kim also completed regular first aid, safeguarding, prevent and food hygiene training. Kim is very bubbly and creative within her role, Kim enjoys seeing children learn and thrive throughout their time here.
Melanie Parker
Deputy Nursery Manager and SENDCO
Mel has been part of the Greyfriars team for over 15 years. Mel is our Deputy Manager, SENCO and Designated Safeguarding Officer. She holds Level 4 in childcare and management Level 3, as well as first aid, fire training and food hygiene certification. Mel is passionate about understanding how children develop and how to support each child with their individual needs. She also has expertise in helping families and children with the transition to school. Mel enjoys reading, shopping, and going out with friends.
Jessica O’Donoghue
Term Time Nursery Room Leader
Jessica is our Term time Nursery room leader and a designated safeguarding lead and has been apart of our team for 8 years. Jessica training and qualifications include, Level 2 and 3 in childcare, Designated Safeguarding officer training, SENCO training, First Aid, Safeguarding and food hygiene. Jess has experience with all age ranges. Jess enjoys working with a great team, Jess loves singing and dancing and getting creative.
Rhiannon Fumino
Preschool Room Leader
Rhiannon has worked with us for over 10 years and has a level 2 and 3 in childcare, First aid, Safeguarding and Food hygiene. Rhiannon enjoys working as a team with everyone and watching all children be the best they can be.

I have found everyone to be very supportive, professional and friendly. On my child’s first day I was clearly upset. The staff recognised this and very kind. They didn’t make a fuss but called very soon afterwards to say that my son was settling well and stopped crying.
